The 6th Ghana Tertiary Fashion Award (TheGTFA) lit up the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on Saturday, 30th November, 2024. It was an unforgettable evening of celebration, inspiration and unmatched style. Like the ones before, the 6th GTFA, brought together an extraordinary mix of talents, industry leaders and cherished personalities to celebrate the future of fashion.





Dr. Clement Asemyra received the Fashion for Good award for his Dreams School of Craft, which provide free TVET training to young girls. Mary Martin London was awarded with the Diasporan Award for her immerse contribution towards African Fashion.





The crowning moment of the evening was the grand recognition of Issah Nurudeen Nuhu, a student of AsanSka University College, as the Student Designer of the year. Issah received a Ghc4000 as the cash prize to support him in his journey to the top.
The 6th GTFA transcended being just an event; it became an inspiration to the future. As we set out sight on the monumental 7th edition, our commitment remains resolute – to celebrate, empower and support the future of fashion.
